When I read that Mark Cavendish generates an average of 1,600 watts on sprints, I wanted to rack my bike in the garage for good. I’m not even going to tell you what my average watts are. I mean, yes, I’m a chick, a former smoker, and I’m affected by seasonal allergies (excuses, excuses), but I also have a lot to learn about cycling.
That’s why I’ve been working with Bruce here at Inverse Cycling.
We started by doing an IVC Aerobic Fitness Field test, which revealed my average speed, power, cadence and heart rate during different levels of intensity (or resistance).
